When You First Blip…

… it’s often enthusiasm and the love of photography that drives you to think you might be able to compose a different and exciting image every day for a month, or a hundred days or, perhaps (in a flush of confidence) a year?

You don’t think of the busy days when you might feel rushed. Or the days when you are going to feel about as creative as a windscreen wiper.

And in that first flush, you can’t imagine that the urge to not have a gap in your journal, means that on a bad day you might post something like your elbow.

Or your favourite vegetable shredder.

This is the latter.
