2024 Saturday — Tristan’s Hair

This happened today for our oldest great-grandson Tristan. He had his hair cut and darkened. When I saw the photos his Mom posted on her social media, I inquired and this was her response:

“Yes he said he wanted to cut it and color it darker, and I encouraged him not to because his natural hair is beautiful, but I took him to the salon because I figured it’s better to take him than have him have a friend box dye it or something.”

In our past there was nothing about raising teenagers that seemed easy, so I’m watching our granddaughter and her hubby, who is a good step-dad to Tristan, and trying to give them encouragement as they raise three of our great-grandkids in the San Diego area.
