Fireworks are a big thing over here. So many people set them off on, and not only on New Year's Eve but also before. There have been people lighting fireworks this evening. The Dutch government has sealed a lot of the rubbish bins, pictured here. It's to prevent young people from blowing up them up with fireworks. People tend to get carried away, I guess.

We headed to Woerden to get some shopping done. We needed a few things, but not enough to get a food delivery. The bus to and from Woerden was free, as it appears that a new bus company has taken over the route and they still haven't set up the payment system.

We had a lovely afternoon, when we got home, Little Man and I just relaxed. The weather has been overcast.
