New Years Eve . . .

Today I joined a group of online friends on a ‘round the world’ news year party, starting at 11am GMT in New Zealand.  People dropping in and out all day.  I dropped in and out myself.  The blip shot was just a few of us at (my) lunch time.
 
At extra is the result of Mrs W’s experiment with gluten free sausage rolls, the remains of one showing in the blip shot.  They are very tasty, but handling the pastry was very difficult.  Somehow I think they will be for special occasions only, but a second batch is needed by the weekend for Kaitlyn.
 
Also at extra is a shot I got of an odd sunrise this morning.  The pink sunlit high clouds were peeking through the dark heavy low clouds coming over from the west.
 
Yesterday’s dinner, which I meant to blip yesterday, is now on yesterday’s blip.  


 Ps - just added my 100th extra - had to use it up!  Cherries pickled in brandy in 2015 - they have only just been found, and they are WONDERFUL!!   Just need to find the pickled pears  in brandy now.
