Turn of the year,
remember
turn the pages of life
back before going forwards,
have faith       
remember the good,
try to forget the bad
and get ready,
for a fresh, crisp
New Year!

Thank you for all your kind comments yesterday.  

I have reacted badly to the news for some reason, and hardly slept last night.  Thankfully I was working from home today and at 2.30 was told to finish at 3pm today, then 5 minutes later, we could finish at 2.35pm.

I've just been pottering since then.  I doubt I'll stay up for new year, Charlie and I will probably be tucked up before then....

I cannot believe that someone has just set off a load of fireworks and its not quite 5pm.  Charlie has run off to hide.   Poor animals :(
