Cheesecake

After walking the dogs, I went to the house to check the back gate is open for access to the garden for the maintenance people I have engaged. I also had a long conversation with the letting agent and was encouraged by the first painting estimate he has come up with which is less than I expected. I sorted out some arrangements for our family meet-ups and then settled down with my book in front of the woodburner. Tom made a specaloo cheesecake for their New Year celebrations. We will visit friends but not see the New Year in as we will be moving on early tomorrow morning.
