Meanwhile in New Zealand - Roar!!

This winged its way to us today and seems like a good way to finish the year! They had been over the Hill to Nelson Museum to see the dinosaur exhibition - both Joe and Esme pronounced it excellent and the dinosaur was considered massive! Enroute they stopped off at Richmond to charge the car and have a swim. Esme was very impressed that she went in the pool where even dad's feet didn't even touch the bottom. They then travelled home in a mega thunderstorm where the hail turned the top of the Hill white! A great day. She was busy being a night fairy when I chatted last night wearing her sequined Christmas skirt and her snuggle blanket knotted in the font - important to note the knot which she had done herself  Less than 4 weeks for us until we head off!!

Himself feeling slightly better today but not terrific. He has managed to get up and look rather wafty and croaky. It's our 48th wedding anniversary but romance will in short supply as he's either wearing a mask or we're in separate rooms!

Wishing you all a calm and serene 2025, we can but hope. I have a small  bottle of prosecco to look forward to and some chocolate blancmange, and then I will partake of a seaweed bath - my anniversary present - a sort of seaweed filled pillow you throw in!

There's a new blog  you can enjoy whilst knocking back your champagne and waiting for the new year to sweep in. Atrocious weather here and I reckon it might be an early night! Catch you on the other side.
