Mick's Bench
Today was a busy family day. I dropped P off with his family in York and then went to visit Auntie M. It was lovely to see her and we went for a walk in the village to visit Mick's bench. M said that when the bench was initially installed, one of the council officials asked why it was positioned the way it was. M said because it was facing the pub which was Mick's second home! It's been kept in very good condition and it was good to remember him for a bit.
I then drove out of the fog into the sunshine and back into the fog in York again to spend the rest of the afternoon with P's family - his dad and step mum had a houseful of most of the kids and grandkids and we got to meet our new niece F whilst catching up with the others too. The drive back in the fog was one I'm glad not to repeat and big sis and E were there when we got back. Busy day!
