The Arse End of 2024

Happy New Year’s Eve!

The year's final day began with heavy rain, wind, and fog… and it settled in to stay. I’m feeling a lot better, so I’m back to work this morning, but I am very relieved it’s just a Tuesday half-day. After work and running a few errands, I settled in at home to enjoy the bank holiday. I made tacos for supper, Ed & Tara joined us for NYE, and we spent a few hours playing quizzes around the table before we all sloped off to watch movies or play games while seeing the year out. 

2024 has been an interesting year… not the best, but far from the worst. Luckily, I tend to avoid the news, so I’ve been insulated from most of the ridiculousness the world is spiralling into. And I do have so much to be grateful for. With any luck, 2025 will prove to be better and brighter for all of us.
