Traditions

Guess we all have some at this time of year. Jamie and Clara might have started a new one in recent years - making a gingerbread house :-)

I started New Year’s Eve with a walk. Meg and I went round the Cynfal circuit from Rhydyronen ending with a run in the ball field for her. We just beat the rain which has blighted the rest of the day. Back home I made a double batch of Broccoli and Stilton soup, thanks to the much reduced cheese at a London supermarket. Delicious lunch!

Much of the rest of the day was spent with Jamie and Clara. Clara wanted to have a go at pottery so we called there and collected some clay which provided entertainment later after we’d enjoyed a tasty tea. It’s been a lovely day all round with Tilda also joining us for New Year.

The gingerbread house will be delicious …. Tomorrow!
