Candy Cane Lane

A nice social worker for hospice dropped by for short visit.    Than an appointment with Dr. KIldare,.   the very strangest thing is happening.!   I had to ask our Doc if he knew who Dr. KIldare  (Richard Chamberlain) was.  (It was a tv show in the 60s..we were in our 20s……There are some blippers who do know it!!  Well our Doc is too young…but on the calendar on my chart, alongside the appointment for our appointment  15 min away, there was an appointment with Dr. Kildare’s name.   Maybe a joke?   Hospitals have this sort of humor??  I think not.   but will try to catch a screen shot.    Where could that have come from?   

Then we had a little ride as it was fairly nice…no rain anyway.   But not dark enough for good lights.   Terrible photo but a picture of ‘Candy Cane Lane.(... a 2 block stretch in Seattle who uses the very same decorations they have had for 75 years…and takes donations.  (I think any new owners have to agree to put them up)  I remember going there with our kids.   Now it’s dreadfully boring.     Extra is Peter and the girls tree that we hadn’t seen.
