Folk in our church knit and donate prayer shawls to people needing comfort.  My efforts a few years ago proved dismal but I thought it time to try again.  Eldest sister is an avid knitter so I enlisted her help.  Today we visited the book store, the wool shop, then Subway for lunch.  I'm quite proud of my progress despite having to restart after 10 rows.  Tension is the caution she stressed and that was what was going wrong with first attempt.  And a slipped stitch or two.
