Silvester

I stopped work at 15.30 to start preparing for New Year’s Eve with our friends. This was my contribution, the Apero. Then we had a bicycle ride around the village to look at all the Advent windows (well 20 of them), all v pretty. We then had the main course cooked by the friends. To finish with, we had dessert made by Mr S, Spuren im Schnee (Eton Mess). Some games, then it was time to go outside and see in the new year with a glass of champagne, and to watch many many fireworks go off.
