Fungi

On boxing day we took a drive south to Fell Foot, a small National Trust park for a quiet stroll and refreshment at the cafe.  Before Christmas I had been very poorly with a virus so still in recovery, whereas Maria and her partner had succumbed to the illness during the holiday so none of us were up for anything energetic. On arrival at the park it was to discover that there was an orienteering event in progress, hosted by the Lakeland Orienteering Club - a fun Christmas event (had we known previously we might have taken part! as it was we weren't dressed or equiped). We had a wander around with our dogs and then headed into the cafe, really recommend a visit!
