Charlotte Square in winter sun

I left my sickbed and let the wind blow through me. And picked up a nice fleece in the Tiso sale.

The imposing statue and plinth is Prince Albert who was recently deceased. It was unveiled by Queen Victoria in 1876. The unintended symbolism of the representative of royal British and Empire power turning his back on Bute House, official residence of the First Minister of Scotland’s devolved government, is interesting.
