Summer

Like many I slept in this morning but not for the standard NY day reason. We forgot to watch the 9pm fireworks on TV and I was asleep before midnight. No longer the party animals we may have once been.
Then I spent most of the day continuing the setup of my new laptop which I bought weeks ago but haven't had a chance to work on. It's all such a fiddle with compatibility and connectivity issues.
I got a welcome reprieve when Trisharooni called in and then just as I was about to go on the exercise bike Bec rang to see if we'd like to join them at the pub for dinner so another (temporary) reprieve.
During the meal Wally rang to ask if I'd help him apply some bandaids (!) so that was the next job and now it's 11pm and I'm finally blipping after another unrewarding go at installing and old version of Topaz Photo AI. I'll have to get back to it tomorrow.
