Not Quite Cornwall Day 15: Albert Dock

We're in Liverpool this evening, breaking up our journey on the way home from Cornwall and postponing the inevitable end-of-holiday-itis. We're staying in the old commercial district in a boutique hotel in an old bank. It needs a bit of TLC, but the hotel is lovely and the rooms are huge.

You nearly, nearly got a picture of the Royal Liver building doing an impression of something out of Gotham City ... but this won out for interestingness.

Going on a Yellow Duckmarine tour around Liverpool and the Beatles Story tomorrow. Guess you have to while you're here!

Have to say, I'm not looking forward to work on Monday, but we've had a great holiday.

Oh - and today is my 700th blip too :-) I've dispensed with the usual centennial sillyness, but after all the 'seven three oh' is just around the corner, so plenty of time to think up something suitable for then!
