Bang, Bang, Bang (Part 2)
Some of our neighbours had obviously spent a lot of money on fireworks, and they were busy all night getting rid of it - starting around 7 p.m. and finally finishing around 4 a.m.. The overall effect wasn’t like one big display, but more like a constant barrage. Our cats were not happy, especially Rani, who hates loud noises the most.
Not everyone bothered with cleaning up after their party, as B and I found out on our first walk of 2025. But the really sad result of celebrating with fireworks and alcohol is the number of casualties (five dead by now) and fires all over the country.
Apart from this topic (admittedly a pet peeve for me) - it was a partly sunny day, and a hopeful start to the new year, at least in this part of the world.
Have a healthy and happy 2025, dear blip friends!
