Here’s to 2025

What a fantastic night we had. Relaxing and fun. Great company. Fabulous food and drink. This is us toasting in 2025.

Linda made starters of a mango and avocado salad with tofu and a spicy sauce.

Carol and Phil made a salmon dish, a celeriac pie, kale and peas, roasted parsnips and beetroot.

I made the orange pudding and ice cream and Rick and Jane brought cheese and port.

We stayed over and got to bed about 2 by which time we were all rambling on about the concerts we’d missed that we wished we’d gone to.

Linda had to make sandwiches for the pipe band as it plays its way through the village on the annual traditional pub crawl. It was so cold and wet we didn’t venture down - Mr C lit the fire and we read our books - after I’d make a birthday cake to take to Nathaniel tomorrow. I started blipping 11 years ago today, the day before he was born, though I had a break for a few months in Year 3.
