Canal

Very misty, so our plans for a walk on Marsden Moor were modified somewhat, and we walked along the canal tow path from Marsden to Slaithwaite and back. MrM and I did it quite recently, but it's a lovely walk and new to Angus. We paused at Zapato Brewery for refreshment (coffee!) on the way there.

At low level the mist cleared during the afternoon and it was quite pleasant, but by the time we walked back to Marsden it had clagged in, as they say in these parts. There was mizzle in the air, and we were decidedly damp by the time we reached the van.
