Singing in the new year

The little robin on our Christmas tree was heartily singing in the new year today and I think he's glad to be indoors and not outside in the wind and rain.  We are too although we had a nice long walk with Ivy in Sherborne this morning.  The rain at that point wasn't too bad but we all got quite wet nevertheless!
