200 YEARS

HAPPY NEW YEAR !
2025 is already delivering . . . 200 years since the birth of Joahnn Strauss II, one of many famous Austrian Composers, leading an extra bite to the New Year’s Day Concert from Vienna.
200 years since the start of Train Transportation on the Stockton & Darlington Railway . . . with many events, including a Whistle Off from Fat Controllers all over the UK at midday today . . . as the image shows the infamous Rocket. A whole year of special events to come.
Happy Birthday too to all my equine friends . . . they celebrate on January 1st each year, whether that be running on a racecourse or simply chewing grass in a field, as Mr Hilton is doing today.
Life-wise . . . I need to do more exercise before I seize up totally . . . either that or start the day with an all-over WD40 shower.
Photography-wise . . . I will attempt to produce higher quality Blips this year . . . not difficult as far too many are plain images . . . as always, I am grateful for all your support. Take care all.
