Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables

We had a later, more leisurely, start today after our long day yesterday.
Queenstown offers all kinds of extreme sports such as ziplining, paragliding,skydiving, shark ride and shotover jet, but we settled for extreme laundry and ironing at the hotel and wrote a few postcards. Late morning we had a walk from the hotel towards the  lakeside and some  delightful public gardens. By the time we were on our way back to the hotel, the sun was breaking through the clouds and the mist had gone, allowing a good view over lake Wakatipu, towards the Remarkables mountain range, giving me my blip photo.
