Running
Today it was pouring with rain when I got up, so I delayed going out with Django. Then, suddenly, I spotted that it had turned to snow, and was settling. Hence we had a pleasanter walk than we might have had. It carried on until mid-afternoon, and some has melted, but the skies then cleared and it started to freeze.
Earlier I'd acted on a New Year's resolution to start running again, but entering for the Edinburgh Half Marathon (25 May). Of course I won't be able to run until the ice melts, unless I get out my old orienteering "dobs".
In the evening A alerted me to the aurora display but, by the time daughter L and I had got to the field at end of the lane, it had declined so much that there was almost nothing left to see. I continued with Django's evening walk.
