ShittyCameraChallenge

On the mend now so I've just about recovered my sense of humour, and ready to backblip this photo of my daughter from NYE.  Too unwell to even take a photo of the cat yesterday...

Just read a timely article about the ShittyCameraChallenge (which I think has been going on for a number of years now, and which has been blipped about by one of our very own, a winner to boot).

It was hot on the heels of (1) a weird Facebook post about a wedding photographer specialising in light leak capture, (2) my sister's return to Blipfoto (joke, there's nothing shitty about her camera, just wanted to put in a gratuitous plug), and (3) my increasing attraction to film photography.

Not sure my EPL2 counts, but on Tuesday I had coincidentally dug out the Holga lens my husband gave me ten years ago, and I read somewhere that any Holga counts!   Also in Extras, a Holga photo I was quite liked, and a decision tree for choosing your ShittyCamera. 

Anyway, thought I'd mention it in case any fellow Blippers want to join in the silliness - competition closes end of January, just post your pic to BlueSky /Mastodon and tag it #ShittyCameraChallenge.  I'll be looking out for your tag on Blipfoto too!

Off on a half day bushwalk today - if it doesn't kill me (still coughing badly), I'll be looking over the MonoMonday challenge entries tonight! Looking forward to the photography today, a rare Canberra summer's day under 30, hence the urgency of our expedition!
