Morning After

A quiet night in and didn’t stay up. Although I was woken by a barrage of fireworks at midnight.

Up to start the New Year with a Parkrun. Enjoyed my run through the puddles. But best of all catching up with friends. 

Home to take the Christmas decorations down and get a few jobs done. With Richard on dialysis I opted for a local walk. Fortunately despite the heavy overnight the river levels have remained low so no repeat of the flooding experienced with the last storm. This area was underwater.
