Relaxed start of 2025

Happy New Year to you Blippers! 

The last days of December here in Chania, did surprise my Benjamin; that is "it remained quiet, not a firecracker was lit before December 31st" and than whatever fireworks were lit that day, it was little in numbers and not shocking in noices... Here in Chania, New Year's night was quiet after a 10 minutes display of fireworks and firecrackers ~ in the Netherlands it's like a war is taking place for days if not weeks.

And on New Year's day I went for another walk around the block and spotted this neighbour from a few streets up; relaxing in a new chair and telling me that:  "The Years go by and we need to live them well" ~ Ah, nice words from an old man.
