Very Cross

More explorations along the edge of the ice shelf next to the shore, looking for shapes and interesting features. I like that it's shallow enough to see the bottom underneath the ice. Also, I like that some leaves are buried in the ice and others on top. It indicates a transition, just like today is a crossover from one year to the next.

Extra: Patient. A dozen or so American tree swallows chirping away in the reeds. They mostly flew off as I approached, bar this one which waited patiently.
