Lego Christmas town.

In the collage I photographed the new Lego village and the new acquisition "Christmas present for Wim" Santa with his sleigh. Wim built it after Christmas so he could look at it for a few days. :-)

Yesterday we celebrated New Year's Eve at my girlfriend's.
We have been friends for over 50 years so we have experienced a lot together. Ups and downs with 2 years ago at the beginning of January our friend, her husband lost the battle with lung cancer after 2 years. It was a big blow for us.
Wim misses him very much because there are now 3 of us. He misses his buddy and my girlfriend her husband.
Fortunately her kids practically live with her. That is very lucky for her.
