Out of it

Symptoms starting Sunday led me to the emergency room last night and I am here at Northwest hospital undergoing treatment to ward off surgery for a small bowel obstruction.  This came out of the blue and totally unexpected. Unfortunately at this point treatment involves suctioning  fluid from the bowel and having nothing to eat or drink. x-rays later this afternoon should determine if the treatment is working.

So instead of enjoying the holidays I have been suffering. I've spoken with Lex everyday and went to visit on Sunday as I mentioned in my last blip. After that was when things fell apart. So tomorrow I will have dialysis right here in the hospital and again Saturday if I'm still here. I'm hoping that I get to eat and drink soon.
