Somewhere
One of the best things about blip only happens when you've been around for a while. It's looking back on what has happened in the year gone by - even the years gone by - the last four years now. You start remembering when things happened, because you can picture your photo for that day. Something like Michael Jackson's death takes on extra significance, when you remember that it was Day 3 of your photo-a-day back-catalogue back in 2009 (35 days before joining blipfoto).
The last year has been pretty memorable looking back, and - according to the Government, at least - we are happier than this time last year. Yay! :)
The Olympics and the run of Gold Postboxes - getting round all of the Scottish ones within the year. Celtic 2, Barcelona 1. Andy Murray. A flourishing career on the badminton court (or not). Family parties, Bruv's passing out, Dad's awards, and off-road driving. Work nights out, an office move, a new boss. Christmas with the extended family. My first New Year away from home. Helping friends move houses - four moves in total - and missing a fifth because I was away for the weekend. Nights out, nights in and days out with some great friends.
Smashed windows, a parking ticket, my wisdom tooth, the operation, and the trouble I've had with my teeth in general, as predicted by the 2013 Horoscopes at the start of 2013 (seven trips to the dentist so far).
Painting the kitchen, the bathroom, then the kitchen again. My beard growing fund-raiser. An appearance in the Inverness Courier, and featuring in (and meeting fellow blippers at) the nationwide exhibition, See Us (coming to Eden Court in Inverness next month). Girls Aloud. Big Brother. Driving through Central London. Breaking the Falkirk Wheel (it wasn't me), Stirling Castle, Thorpe Park. And the Summer of '13, a record breaking number of barbecues, and endless pictures of car thermometers.
All can be found by pressing the left key, 365 times.
But today is just another day. You post another blip. You still get mad at that one gap - 8 July 2012. You pick up your red balloons by posting another picture of the Castle. And, according to the stats, "The likelihood of you publishing an image tomorrow is 100%".
