Had a good journey south to Clacton on Sea in Essex.  It took about 7 hours and as expected there was a lot of rain along the way.  I was hoping to have a walk along the sea front when I got here but it was still raining.  Anyhow good to see the family and sample some home made trifle made by my sister.
