look who i bumped into at the annual New Year's Day Swim at Alnmouth.

This was before we'd even got into the water, we were in the teeth of a gale before we even arrived at the muster point.

it felt like i was wetter and colder before i got in the water than i was when i was actually in the damn sea.

Thank god for swim hats is all i can say.
