A day for cricket.

Leaving for the cricket, NZ v Sri Lanka in the third T20, we were prepared for it to be rained off when the sun burnt through the clouds and we cooked. NZ lost the match but won the three game series.
The Blip shows the most the grass will get used all year and the sky before the sun come out.

The Extra
Before the start of the game there was a moving tribute to Police Sergeant Lyn Flemming who was run down and killed here in Nelson, there was a minutes silence and then whole crowd stood and applauded the attending cops.
This sort of stuff does not happen in NZ it is very sad.

The US has had a similar incident, what is up with the world?
