Day out

After getting to bed way too late the prospect of getting up and set for 10.30am felt very hard indeed; but so glad we made the effort!

Despite living in the area for the best part of 30 years I think I've only been to Cheltenham races once - and that was in the very first few years here!

We timed our arrival perfectly with the torrential rain stopping and whilst it was a bit chilly, blowy and grey it was brilliant fun!

Was great to be with Jason who's super knowledgeable on all things horsey and we spent our time going between the paddock and the viewing steps with a few flutters in between! And out of the three of us, James brought home the money!!!

Might have to go again!!
