The cold air has arrived

A distinct change has arrived, icy footpaths and frost greeted me on a my mid morning walk.  So I looked for ways to portray this when I came across this vent emitting condensing air.  I photographed it with the sun behind me, but it was more pleasing to shoot into the sun and the background was better.  I framed the shot in portrait format but in post processing changed this to a 1:1 aspect.   Although taken in colour the image just has to be monochrome.
