From the Past

We set out this afternoon to look for some famous standing stones on the moors near Penzance. They are from the very distant past. Unfortunately we never did manage to find them but this disused tin mine still fits the theme perfectly. Just as I was about to photograph it an eerie mist appeared over the hill behind it making for a very atmospheric shot.

Today is my last day here in Cornwall. The exhibition will be taken down tomorrow and the key to the gallery passed on to the next exhibitor. We all feel a bit sad that our adventure has come to an end but everyone managed to sell something. The potters did particularly well in sales but everyone had very favourable comments made about their work. We all agree that it was a great thing to do. There was even some mention of coming back next year.
