Emma's model

After having built a London Bus from a kit by Rolife, Emma decided to buy herself a kit from them as well.
This one is a lot more complex compared to my bus, as there is some gluing and painting involved, as well as electricals.
Here she has worked on 3 of the 4 walls and this morning she has been working on the 4th and final one.
Last night I helped her with the electrical side of things and all 3 lights now work on it.
Occasionally she has been exasperated with the fiddly bits and is now learning to put it to one side, to come back to it later.

Mme MB went back to work today, which I had forgotten. I thought she was still on holiday.

This afternoon I've been doing a few admin things for the courses, as two of my students have already paid for January's lessons. So I've renewed my site domain. Bought a new English workbook to add to my collection for the lessons, plus the monthly pack of disinfectant wet wipes. Between the lessons I always wipe all the surfaces, plus that purchase allows me get away with not paying the charge for my credit card each month.

I'm now supposed to be planning lessons for Monday evening, but it is already 4.30pm and I've been struggling to motivate myself. Plus I still have the contre-temps of Christmas Day on my mind. Family is great, but my own sort of rejected me over my Mum's mental illness and now I feel like it is happening for a second time with my in-laws. It is clear that they don't care about me, just Mme MB and my kids. I've already felt invisible for several years, before feeling invisible again in person on Christmas Day.

Ah well...
