Reaching For The Moon!

Today we've started the process of de-Christmassing the house. I want to leave the front room tree up until 12th night though, as it's so pretty and it makes the room feel cosy. I've done some general tidying, and we washed the bedding too.

Brian went to do a bit more clearing of his Mum's bungalow. I chilled out with Minstrel after I'd finished my jobs. It's time to start getting organised for 2025 now...

Once Brian was home we had a quick trip to Lidl for some crusty bread for lunch, then did more admin and tidying after lunch. 

Brian is putting away the tree and decorations from the back room now. Also tinsel that was draped on mirrors and over doors. I'm not going to miss having to be vigilant about Minstrel messing around with it!

Earlier Bri told me how much our fuel bill is. For gas it's surprisingly low, probably because we've been very frugal with heating and I've skived off cooking every chance I got! We have used more electric than I would have expected though.. Using the oven and air fryer, TV, constant tech charging and maybe the front room Christmas lights will have something to do with it...

My Blip for today, seeing as I haven't been out apart from going to Lidl, is this gorgeous little ornament Jeri gave me for Christmas. I set it up on the desk to catch the sun.
