Silhouettes

Lots of busy little birds in the garden today on a beautiful sunny, but bitterly cold winter’s day, you can just about see the snow on the hills behind. We kept the bird feeders topped up for the chaffinches and robins and the group of sparrows had a special treat as I inadvertently dropped a fat ball on the ground, they demolished it quickly with a blackbird joining in the feast.
I had a short walk with a friend in the afternoon and then took down all of the Christmas decorations to get the house back to normal. I’m looking forward to next week when the days get back to normal too.
