A Tale Of Tails

We went to Blackpool Zoo with our two local grandchildren and we all seemed to get something from the trip. I could say frostbite, but that might be slightly overdoing the bitter cold day, with beautiful sunshine though.

We spent about four hours touring the zoo, and I think me and BrambleBlossom agree that we don't really like the way most of the animals are caged. There is a big debate about saving endangered animals, and the difference between animals living in cages versus in their natural environment.

Anyway, the monkey house said a lot to me. My Blip is of a pair perched on a branch that appeared to be asleep, but after a few minutes I watched their tails entwine. Maybe love, or desperation - discuss? Or not?
My Extra is of the enclosure next door, with four monkeys sitting where the public couldn't see them (or the other way around), another wedged in the doorway to their sleeping quarters (partially hidden by another tail), and another in the open on a branch. All with their tails hanging down. And don't forget the seventh tail, which is only hanging down, and not a tail!
