Life's Little Moments

The Day After

It hasn't been a banner day here.  I am feeling the aftereffects of the covid jab, which I fully expected.  In addition, I got some rather unsettling news from my parents who spent much of yesterday in the ER.  All seems to be okay now, but these are the times when I really hate all the miles that separate us.

I haven't gotten out of my sweats today and I haven't been outside other than a brief trip to refill the feeders.  Thank goodness Charlie was lazing in front of the fire looking quite relaxed and all gingery - grabbed a camera, took some shots, picked this one.  Aperture at f/4 which gave good focus to his entire face.  You may notice that his lip is canted up on one side - he had an upper fang extracted several years ago and now his lip frequently gets hung up on the bottom fang making him look either fearsome or just silly.

Hubs and I are finishing the final season of Virgin River on Netflix.  I have to say that the acting isn't great and the story is probably a little sappy, but it is fun and easy to watch and we are both enjoying it.

Almost time to pick Jax up from daycare where he has, no doubt, enjoyed a day of pampering and play.
