Blencathra

First time out hiking since the ankle break and I must admit, I was a bit nervous. There’s been pressure building in my ankle for a few weeks and today on the walk, my ankle popped and the relief was incredible!

The walk was a bit treacherous as it was raining so the ridge line was slippery. We made it up safely, and had some lunch at the top. There was an interesting bit on the way down where part of the path has had a bit of a landslide, that we had to half scramble down.

Once we were back down, we headed in to Keswick for a wander around the shop, and then for dinner at The Round for this months date night.
