What's up doc
Hammering down the autobahn from Karlsruhe to Memmingen at max possible (electronically limited to 185km/h despite 313hp 500Nm) to catch up on dreadfully slow, annoying night section from Luxembourg to Karlsruhe, it suddenly occurred to me I could call in at my GP as it was on the way home.
Waiting in the queue in front of reception I leaned against a wall for support. One of the staff who knows me, took one look and said 'do you need a chair?'.
Luckily hardly any wait and got to see what I guessed was a new or stand-in doc. She did normal check up, exactly as NHS nurse had done and fully agreed with the diagnosis and treatment plan. She only complimented it with another spray with cortisone to add to normal one. BUT she insisted that regardless of how I felt, I was to come back on Monday to have a check up with my regular doc.
And then finally home from a less than successful trip, nothing achieved, almost nothing seen, but still pleased to have done it.
