Happy New Year

This is how I started mine.
In the bush, first thing in the morning. It's the Rapurapu Kauri walk. Not only does the walk have 3 huge, ~600 year old Kauri trees to see, you get to cross the stream 8 times to get there! And 8 times again on the way back ;-)
Bonus feature is a beautiful swimming hole from which this picture was taken. A nice and refreshing swim at 13 degrees but most welcome on a hot and sunny day!
