Crepe Suzette

I didn’t mean to do another foodie photo, but this worked so well I couldn’t resist. It was my birthday. 2nd Jan can be a challenge if you want to eat out, but this lovely traditional Portuguese place was open and very busy. M absolutely loves a crepe suzette, and here’s the owner making it for us. He must have done this a million times: his timing was brilliant, leaving smoking butter for a moment while he goes to the kitchen to get the next thing. Lovely day, with tennis, a swim, sunshine, and delicious dinner.
