Well, the temperature plummeted last night and I woke up to this sight.
I bought this bird bath as a Christmas present to myself a few years ago. I envisioned watching birds gaily playing or eating or splashing.  BUT no bird has ever gone near it (hence the cobwebs) and I now think it has a basic design flaw - the birds are put off by the fact that there is another 'bird' already on it.
