Joystick

As my husband and I walked into the local Texas Roadhouse for an early steak dinner, I spotted something shiny and sparkly, changing colors every second, and so while we waited for a booth, I just had to go over and take pictures of it. 

We arrived at our table and I giggled and told my husband that I'd found a colorful round thing with BUBBLES inside it, and so I just HAD to take pictures. "You're such a child," he said, but he said it sweetly. 

Of course, I had to go back and snag a few more shots before I left. When we got home, I showed him the photos and he said they resembled those frozen bubbles I am always making in the backyard at home!

May I present to you . . . joystick!*

And of course, the song that comes to mind is this one: Roxette, with Joyride.

*This item is actually part of a thing called Mondo Claw, which is a clear rectangular booth about six feet tall and a few feet wide and deep that contains stuffed animals. The joystick is used to direct a metal claw to select the creature you are trying to win. I have never played the game, by the way, but I will admit that I have indeed admired its joystick!
