Inertational Summer Organ Festival

During summer months, the Spreckels Organ Society sponsors invited international artists to perform on Monday evenings in Balboa Park.
Tonight's artists were Barbara Dennerlein, Organ with Daniel Jackson, Guest Saxophonist. Barbara is a German-born Hammond organ virtuoso who specializes in Jazz. Daniel is a local jazz saxophonist invited by Barbara to accompany her.

John D and Adolph Spreckels donated the Spreckels Organ, the world's second largest outdoor pipe organ to the City of San Diego in 1914 for the Panama-California Exposition. The organ contains 4,530 pipes ranging in length from the size of a pencil to 32 feet.
