New member of staff !

We bought this in November but I’ve only just had the head space to work out how to use it . Tonight’s tea might be a tasty soup? I’m optimistic that this will prove to be a “time saving device.” I will let you know !
I woke up feeling a bit glum so made a list of easy jobs to work through so that I could feel a sense of time well spent. I’ve made steady progress , ticking them off through the day .
Wedding outfit for tomorrow sorted , Bramble walked , calendars updated , compost and paper taken across to pen and so on . Still a few left to do. One of my nieces has just announced that a long hoped for baby is due in July, my sister will have three new grandchildren in the next 6 months , she is going to be pretty busy. 2 of the 3 have been long awaited so it feels like especially good news.
We had expected frost and sunshine today but instead got icy sog. Hopefully the sky will start to clear as tonight there is meant to be an excellent showing of the Quadrantids meteor shower . Look north east , towards the plough is the advice we have been given. Happy star gazing to those who are interested, I will report back on the soup tomorrow.
